🛡️ WE ARE HIRING – Senior Accountant Mandalay Gold & Jewellery Company Position: Senior Accountant – 1 Post Salary: 12 – 15 Lakhs (Negotiable based on experience) 📋 Job Description (JD) - Manage and oversee daily accounting transactions and financial records. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Monitor sales, purchases, cash flow, expenses, and bank transactions. - Maintain accurate records of gold, jewellery, inventory, and stock movements. - Monitor the costing and valuation of gold and jewellery inventory. - Coordinate with the Sales, Purchasing, and Store teams regarding stock and financial matters. - Prepare and review invoices, receipts, payment records, and other accounting documents. - Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. - Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and management reporting. - Ensure proper internal controls over cash, gold, jewellery, and other valuable assets. - Prepare documents and support internal and external audits. - Ensure compliance with applicable tax and accounting requirements. - Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure accounting tasks are completed accurately and on time. 📌 Job Requirements (JR) - B.Com, B.Act, CPA, ACCA (Part II/III), or LCCI Level III qualification. - Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in the Gold & Jewellery / Retail industry is preferred. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Experience in inventory control, stock reconciliation, and costing is required. - Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Able to handle confidential financial information responsibly. - Honest, responsible, and trustworthy, with a high level of integrity.
