Coordinate daily workshop operations, assign tasks, monitor, productivity, and maintain excellent customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities *Supervise and support workshop Technicians/Mechanics. *Assign and repair and maintenance Jobs. *Ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards. *Diagnose and assist with complex mechanical and electrical issues. *Monitor workshop productivity and meet service targets. *Train and mentor team members. *Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness. *Communicate with service advisors and customer regarding repair progress. *Ensure accurate job documentation and reporting. *Manage inventory and order workshop parts when required. Skill & Qualifications *Strong Knowledge of automotive repair and Diagnostics. *Leadership and team management skills. *Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. *Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. *Experience with workshop management system is an advantage. ------------------------------------------------- Job Description for Workshop Mechanic or Technician Job Summary- The Automotive Mechanic/Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities *Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical and electronic faults. *Diagnose issues using diagnostics equipment and technical manual. *Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacement, tire rotation, and brake inspection. *Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering, brakes and electrical system. *Conduct vehicle servicing according to manufacturer specifications. *Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify proper operation. *Maintain accurate service and repair records. *Ensure all work is completed safely efficiently, and within agreed time frames. *Keep tools, equipment, and the workshop clean in good working condition. *Follow workplace safety policies and environmental regulations. *Communicate repair findings and recommendations to the Service Advisor or Team Leader. Skills & Qualifications *Strong knowledge of vehicles mechanical, electrical and electronic system. *Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment. *Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills. *Ability to work independently and as parts of a team. *Valid driving license and skill. *Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
