*System Engineer(IT)* Industry: Insurance Salary: 1,500,000MMK(Nego) + Ferry Yangon Location: Kamayut Tsp, Yangon Working Hours: 9:00AM to 5:00PM Off Days: Saturday , Sunday and Public holidays Job Requirements -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. -2–3 years of hands-on experience in a System Administration or NOC role. -Proficiency with the Linux Command Line Interface (CLI). .Understanding of Linux file systems, permissions, and process management. .Experience managing web servers as plus. -Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, and Firewall configurations (IP Tables, etc). -Familiarity with VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V environments. -Ability to read and write basic scripts. -Basic exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform instances. Job Descriptions -Install, configure, and maintain Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS/Oracle) and Windows server environments. -Diagnose and resolve complex OS, network, and application-layer issues. -Assist in managing virtualized environments and hardware lifecycle (servers, storage, and networking). -Use tools like Zabbix, and other tools to monitor system performance and preemptively address bottlenecks. -Execute regular backup procedures, verify data integrity, and apply security patches/updates to Linux systems. -Create clear technical documentation for system architectures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configurations. -Provide Tier 2/3 technical escalation support for internal teams.
